Alpha Phiesta
Absolutely all you can eat tacos is
brought to campus every fall by the
Alpha Phis, who throw a phiesta
sponsored by surrounding food
departments. The proceeds all go
to the Alpha Phi foundation and
being "knee-deep" in beef is one of
our favorite events of the year.
This year we served over 400 loyal
customers to raise over $2,000.
Cardiac Arrest
Alpha Phi PD begins arresting every
spring, bringing our prisoners to our
homemade jail. The day is exciting,
running across campus staging arrests,
where the prisoners post bail and raise
money to stop Heart Disease. It has
become one of our biggest fundraisers
and many of us claim it to be the best
day ever. Last year we raised $2,500
and hope to go above and beyond in
2007.

From a pirate cruise exchange
with two fraternities on campus
to a tacky tourist date party, we
spend the evening dancing the
night away. We dress up for our
semi formal in the fall and have
our spring formal in April. We
love our themes and we love to

Alpha Phi Eta Mu Chapter ~ Marquette
PHI~LANTHROPY Cardiac Care The #1 Killer of Women Go Red for Women Philanthropy work is very important to Alpha Phi. 2006 was a record breaking year with the newly added Red Dress Gala and Cardiac Arrest which raised us an extra $5,500 to donate to the foundation. The Eta Mu chapter is dedicated to our philanthropy work, taking Marquette’s motto of “Curas Personalis” to heart. Alpha Phi’s philanthropy is Cardiac Care. Heart disease is the number one killer of women. The Eta Mu chapter hosts several events throughout the year to raise awareness and money for cardiac care. The Eta Mu chapter of Alpha Phi has also been recognized several times for our philanthropic work. Most recently, we received the Spirit of Marquette award, and we were chosen out of all the Alpha Phi chapters internationally for our Philanthropy work. The Spirit of Marquette award recognizes only three student organizations out of more than 230 available at Marquette that best exemplify the four pillars of Marquette: Excellence, Faith, Leadership, and Service.
